for the operation of the Faculty Council of Mahasarakham University In accordance with the philosophy, vision and mission, the objectives are as follows:

1. To consult Introduce to the Rector for the benefits of the University

2. to create understanding and a good relationship between the faculty of the university

3. To be an information service center lead to suggestions and giving advice to the Rector

4. To represent faculty members in coordination and cooperation with faculty members of other higher education institutions

5. To be a medium in organizing the welfare system for university personnel

6. To strengthen ethics and the morality of the faculty

เพื่อให้การดำเนินงานของสภาคณาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม เป็นไปตามปรัชญา วิสัยทัศน์ และพันธกิจ จึงกำหนดวัตถุประสงค์ ดังนี้

1. เพื่อให้คำปรึกษา แนะนำแก่อธิการบดีในกิจการที่เป็นประโยชน์ของมหาวิทยาลัย

2. เพื่อสร้างความเข้าใจ และความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างคณาจารย์ของมหาวิทยาลัย

3. เพื่อเป็นศูนย์บริการข้อมูลสารสนเทศ นำไปสู่การเสนอแนะข้อคิดเห็น และให้คำปรึกษาต่ออธิการบดี

4. เพื่อเป็นตัวแทนของคณาจารย์ในการประสานงานและความร่วมมือกับคณาจารย์ของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาอื่นๆ

5. เพื่อเป็นสื่อกลางใน การจัดระบบสวัสดิการให้แก่บุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัย

6. เพื่อเสริมสร้างจริยธรรม และศีลธรรมของคณาจารย์
